This has been a great car but I have acquired a new car from my sister-in-law. The Volvo is not required anymore, so we haven't fixed it and need the space on the drive/path.
This was my mum and dad's car (which I also had use of); when I say that - it pretty much means they've looked after it like a baby over the years! They've had it since 1995/6.
As noted in the condition description above, the Volvo has issues (sunroof, clutch, electric aerial and possibly the fuel pump) but is generally in very good condition for it's age. The bodywork is really good (apart from paint flaking from the rear spoiler). It needs work to get it back on the road. It's never been involved in an accident and there aren't any bumps or dents. Currently it's non-drivable due to the clutch - Trailer required.
It would be a shame to scrap it, which is why we're listing it on eBay. It would be suitable for someone who has time (or patience) to fix it or for someone that would like it for spares and parts. Even the tires are valuable and in good condition. Obviously the car is quite dated, but for it's age it's in good shape.
