Music producer, Jon Brooks, teamed up with Clive Farrington (lead vocalist - 'When In Rome') to co-write and produce Clive's first solo album 'Independence'. The official release date was significant as 4th July also represented Clive Farrington's independent release outside of 'When in Rome'. 'When in Rome' are most famous for their hit song 'The Promise'. Whilst recording the album, they decided to release the dance music EP - 'Mountain: The Remixes'.

------------------- LYRICS -------------------
- Verse 1 -
Strange times, I've had enough of strange times
I wish that we could go back again
The day we thought that love would not end

We were brave then, never fearing no one
Our lives were somehow caught in a trap
Forever were the feelings on tap

- Chorus -
Now you talk of freedom
And I can't stop hurting
You can't stop talking
You'll not stop me walking
I shout to the mountain
Never again, no no....

Now I see you walking
And I stand here helpless
Forsaking my feelings
Traversing the ceilings
I shout to the mountain
Never again
Again!

- Verse 2 -
Warning signs, I should have read between the lines
Living through this heartache and pain
I swear I'll never do this again

Impossible, our lives became intolerable
Walking through the fire became
The scars to make these feelings remain

- Chorus -
Now you talk of freedom
And I can't stop hurting
You can't stop talking
You'll not stop me walking
I shout to the mountain
Never again, no no....

Now I see you walking
And I stand here helpless
Forsaking my feelings
Traversing the ceilings
I shout to the mountain
Never again
Again!

Never again, I shout to the mountain
Aww, I shout to the mountain
Mmm yeah, never again

- Chorus -
Now you talk of freedom
And I can't stop hurting
You can't stop talking
You'll not stop me walking
I shout to the mountain
Never again, no no....

Now I see you walking
And I stand here helpless
Forsaking my feelings
Traversing the ceilings
I shout to the mountain
Never again
Never Again!
