I've just started investing on the eToro social trading platform... it's still early days; but so far so good!
If you're a beginner like me and interested to invest in stocks, shares, cryptocurrency (eg. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ether, Etherium and Dash), currencies, commodities, indices and ETF's then i recommend 'Copy Trading'. You choose the trader/s you'd like to copy and invest in their portfolio. Make sure you do you research and spread your investments wisely. Diversify to minimise potential loss. Never EVER put all your eggs in one basket as they say!

There's also a 'virtual' trading account if you'd like to get the hang of the platform without investing any real money. The community interact with the traders which is great for learning if you'd like to trade solo one day too.
