SEASON 1
(39 Episodes x 7 mins)

Featuring the writer of 'Backyardigans' and 'Little Einstein' and the voice talent of Joe Murray.  From the creators of the award winning animation series: Taoshu (Peach Blossom Media).

Each story is presented by the narrator, Badger, who also comes on at the end to draw a conclusion from the story he has just told.  Badger chooses fables from all over the world, both ancient and modern. Just because a fable originated in Ancient Greece or among the Aborigines in Australia, it doesn't mean that the lesson it teaches isn't relevant to kids everywhere.

The uniqueness of the series lies in its design concept. Badger has at his disposal thousands of different shapes of all colours and sizes. He uses them to form the various characters and locations needed to tell each fable.  Sometimes the shapes are unruly and don't do what they are supposed to. At other times one of them falls out of place or turns up late, thereby disrupting the story. Badger interacts with the shapes, creating plenty of funny moments for kids to enjoy!

Created by Karen Tang, Leslie Valdes and Julie Middleton for Peach Blossom Media in association with the Media Development Agency of Singapore.

"National Day (Arabic: يوم استقلال الإمارات العربية المتحدة‎) is celebrated on 2 December each year in the United Arab Emirates. It marks the UAE's formal independence from the United Kingdom and the eventual unification of the seven emirates in 1971 which combined to form the modern-day country. The union became independent on 2nd December 1971.

On 2 December 1971, all emirates except for Ras Al Khaima, united as a country at the suggestion of H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and his other brothers, the rulers of other emirates. Ras Al Khaima joined later as a part of the country. Qatar and Bahrain were also suggested to be a part of the country but they declined the idea.

People celebrate this day with flags and drawings on their faces. They also go on streets and celebrate this day with decorated cars. The locals also do a "Maseera", in which people go on the road and drive around the Emirate in celebration with music, poems, and many, many flags.

Many Schools in the UAE celebrate National Day by holding an event in school where kids will dress up in the Cultural "thoub" and "kandoora" and perform the "youlah" and dance the cultural dance."

"Stormy Weather" - Children's Song

"Stormy Weather" Children's Song.
Fun musical animation.

Animation by: Rocket Fish Studios
Music Composed by: Jon Brooks

LYRICS:

Uh Oh, Uh Oh!
A storm's a brewin'
Uh Oh, Uh Oh!
Here comes the rain

Watch out! Watch out!
It's windy whirly
(What if it never stops again?)

We can use flowers
For umbrellas

Or dig a hole where we can hide

We can just eat until it's over!!

But it seems like there's no end in sight

Uh Oh, Uh Oh!
A storm's a brewin'
Uh Oh, Uh Oh!
Look at the sky

Watch out! Watch out!
I hear the thunder
(We better find a place to hide!)

What do we do?
Where can we run to?
Is this the storm that never ends?

Let's hope it's not!
Let's stick together
Whether the storm
'Cos we're best buddies

Uh Oh, Uh Oh!
La la la la
Uh Oh, Uh Oh!
La la la la

Uh Oh, Uh Oh!

This is an excerpt from Episode 2 of Brady's Buddies TV series.

Amnesty International(As cited on Wikipedia)
"Amnesty International (commonly known as Amnesty and AI) is a non-governmental organisation focused on human rights with over 3 million members and supporters around the world. The objective of the organisation is "to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights, and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated."

Amnesty International was founded in London in 1961, following the publication of the article "The Forgotten Prisoners" in The Observer 28 May 1961, by the lawyer Peter Benenson. Amnesty draws attention to human rights abuses and campaigns for compliance with international laws and standards. It works to mobilise public opinion to put pressure on governments that let abuse take place. The organisation was awarded the 1977 Nobel Peace Prize for its "campaign against torture", and the United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights in 1978.

In the field of international human rights organisations, Amnesty has the longest history and broadest name recognition, and "is believed by many to set standards for the movement as a whole."
